FAQs

At the Flower Farm, we want your flower-picking experience to feel calm, joyful, and easy to navigate. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifteenth, here’s everything you need to know about how it works — from what to bring, to what you’ll pick, to how we keep our little field blooming for all.

🗓 Do I need to book ahead of time?

Yes. All visits must be booked in advance — no walk-ins, please! This helps us manage parking, protect the field, and give each guest the best possible experience.

🕘 When is U-Pick available?

Our 2025 U-Pick season runs weekends only, from August 16 to September 28.
Open hours: Saturdays & Sundays, 10am–12pm.

🌦 What happens if it rains?

If we cancel due to weather or poor field conditions, you’ll be notified and refunded or offered a chance to reschedule if the field closes.

💐 What’s included with my ticket?

Each U-Pick ticket includes access to the farm and a bouquet featuring specialty blooms and fillers. Additional supplies — such as buckets, vases, and snips — are available for purchase on-site. To help reduce waste, guests are encouraged to bring their own containers or tools if they wish.

🛍 Can I purchase extra flowers or supplies?

Yes! Optional add-ons are available on-site:

  • Extra 10-stem flower bundle – $10

  • Buckets – $5

  • Vases – starting at $10

💳 We accept cash, debit, and credit for all on-site purchases.

📸 Can I take photos during my visit?

Yes — personal photography is welcome and encouraged! We love seeing your pics.

✨ We may reshare your photos — let us know at check-in or when you purchase your ticket if you’d prefer not to be featured.

Interested in a professional shoot?

We offer private field rentals. Please inquire via our site’s contact form or message us on social.

🌸 What flowers will I get?

Each bouquet is unique, reflecting what’s in season and blooming at its best. You can expect a thoughtfully curated mix of premium farm-grown flowers, classic favourites, and fillers that add texture and volume. While we can’t guarantee specific varieties, every bouquet is designed to be fresh, vibrant, and one-of-a-kind for your visit

🐾 Can I bring my dog or pet?

Pets are not permitted for safety and insurance reasons. Service animals are welcome.
Children are always welcome — just please supervise them during your visit.

🚽 Are there restrooms?

There are no restroom facilities on-site. Please plan ahead and arrive prepared.

📍 Where is the farm?

We’re located in Milton, Ontario. You’ll receive directions and parking instructions with your booking confirmation. The farm is only open during ticketed hours.

👒 What should I bring or wear?

 We recommend:

  • Comfortable shoes (ground may be uneven)

  • Hat and sunscreen

  • Water bottle

  • Notebook or journal (if you’re feeling inspired!)

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your event to receive a refund. This allows us time to offer your spot to someone else.

🐾 Can we visit the animals or explore the pond?

For everyone’s safety — including our animals — we kindly ask that guests do not touch or feed any farm animals and stay out of the pond area. We appreciate your help in respecting the space and keeping the farm peaceful for all.

🌿 A Note About Visiting the Farm

Busy B’s is a real, working flower farm — with uneven ground, insects, and all the charm (and unpredictability) of nature. Please dress appropriately, watch your step, and be mindful of any personal allergies. By attending, you acknowledge that you're entering at your own discretion and assume responsibility for your own comfort and safety while on-site. We do our best to create a beautiful, welcoming space, but we cannot accept liability for any injuries or reactions that may occur during your visit.
